Çocukluk Çağı Fokal Segmental Glomerülosklerozis: Tek Merkez Deneyimi

Aim: Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis (FSGS) is one of the common causes nephrotic syndrome (NS) in children. This study aims to determine demographical data, clinical course, treatment and renal outcome children with primary FSGS report experience a single center. Material Methods: A retrospective long-term 38 patients diagnosis at tertiary pediatric care hospital from period July 2005 2019 was conducted. Results: The included (23 female 15 male) FSGS, mean age 8.5 ± 4.2 years. follow-up duration 4.8± 4.1 (1-14.6) Seventeen (44.7%) were steroid-resistant NS (SRNS) 21 (55.3%) steroid-sensitive (SSNS) [12 (31.6%) steroid-dependent (SDNS) 9 (23.7%) frequently relapsing (FRNS)]. There no significant difference between these groups age, gender, hematuria, serum albumin urine protein level presentation (p > 0.05). Long-term showed that 47% SRNS achieved complete remission, 23.5% partial remission 29.4% resistant all therapies. ESRD developed 15.8% patients. Risk factors for poor prognosis presence hypertension (HT) admission, unresponsiveness initial treatment. Conclusion: childhood, shows changes response prognosis.
